Clyde, How can you fix it if you don't know what the problem really is? Don't install anything until you know what is wrong. Go back, pull the action and diagnosis the problem. I doubt it but It could be something minor - e.g. some foreign object under the wippens. It could be something major like verdigris, or tight centers. It could be tight key bushings. It could be many things. After you determine the problem, give the lady an estimate for the cost of repairs. You might have to absorb the cost of the additional trip, but that would be much less than the cost of damaging your reputation. If you install heating rods inside the action cavity, you're asking for major problems later on (my opinion).
