The importance importance of knowing this... well, I like increasing my knowledge. And sometimes one encounters pianos with tight pins, except ONE in the upper treble. When that happens it´s easy to pull them quite high, and I was "pondering upon the immediate danger thereof" Even if this "breaking pitch" has to be different in every piano I thought the more experienced people here had probably some numbers on the ready. I certainly didn´t expect all you guys to start calculating just because of this little question. But thank you, I´m all the wiser.
