It is a little known fact outside of these parts that Elton John has traveled 
for several years with a private technician from Verona, Wisconsin, a suburb 
of the capital city, Madison, Wisconsin.  When Elton plays here, that 
technician gets write ups in the newspapers, interviews on TV and special 
recognition from Elton at the concert.  He is not a PTG Member and no one 
seems to know him or how he got that job except that he was referred by a 
local tech one time when Elton was touring here and Elton took him on 
permanently.

Elton always stays at a posh, lakefront Hotel in the Downtown/Campus area.  
It is said that in his off hours, he has been known to entertain at the piano 
bar there.  I have seen his autograph both on a piano's plate and a bench.
