Does Pin Tightener Destroy?

Although most the time I try and punch the pins, Pin tightener has never
seemed to give us a problem. I'm curious what kind of pin tightener you used
that delaminated the pin block. I use Quick set, that claims it will not rot
a pin block. If it does ruin a pin block I would think warnings like, "Use at
your own risk!" or "Danger will destroy pin block over time," would be
written on the bottle, or at least in our journals. Also, it would seem like
many technicians would have tried to sue APSCO and others for ruining pin
blocks all over the world. Why have we not heard of law suits breaking out
everywhere over these dangerous products? I'm not convinced yet that pin
tighteners do such damage but I'm still listening. Any comments?
