OK here goes:
Let X = years to go to meet requirement
Let A = age when requirements are met
Solve for age A when number of years of experience equal 1/2 of age.

Given: Current age of 54 and experience of 22 ( 54-22=32 or age starting
experience.)
(X+32)+(X+22)=54+X (years to go to meet requirement)

X+22=(54+X)/2
2X+44=54+X
X+44=54
X=10

A=54+X
A=64!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (almost time to retire)

(And I did all this AFTER tuning 8 pianos and installing a set of
castors)
You people just ask too much of me:-)

Oh, Diane -  Happy Birthday!
