Air conditioners remove moisture here in Illinois too. When the drain stopped up on mine last summer, I got to clean a lot of it up off the basement floor! Perhaps this isn't as noticeable in AZ, since it has a drier climate. True, air conditioned air is great for pianos here, since it keeps them from absorbing too much moisture during the summer months. Ray T. Bentley, RPT
