Temperature Change affecting pitch

I've been telling my clients that sunlight is one of the piano's worst enemies,
so for a retailer to place pianos in direct sunlight seems to me either utterly
careless or utterly ignorant.  Or am I making a bigger deal out of this than it
really is?
