I had the following conversation on the 800# of my favorite, large,
long-standing eastern purveyor of piano supplies:

"Did you you get my order faxd in at the end of the day last Friday?"
"What was the account number? I think I saw an order like that go through."
"Could you confirm that for me?"
	Sound of shoes leaving the room, then room noise (peeople talking,
a radio?), then after a decent interval, shoes returning.
"Yes"
"When is that likely to go out?"
"I don't have a clue."
"But you're working on it?"
 "Right."

As the old-timer said to the city fellow, "Come to think of it, you can't
get there from here...."
