    The repair you are facing is difficult to repair if the color has
been chipped off.  It might be easier/cheaper to replace the keyslip.
You can try to fill the chip with polyester, but the color will be
almost impossible to match invisibly.
    If the area is only shattered (white looking), try to drip some
superglue into the area.  It will fill in the voids like repairing
windshield cracks.  If this doesn't work, try scraping the area down
with a curved knife blade or scraper, then try the superglue again.  If
you can get the white shattered area to become clear with the superglue,
scrape it lightly and fill with polyester.  Sand down and buff out.
    If you aren't familiar with polyester repairs, find someone with
experience and the proper materials.  Otherwise you will have a
difficult job.
