Hi Mark: After posting this question, I went to the Piano Book (by Fine) . He lists all the Steinways made and does not list any Spinets. The smallest piano is a 40" Console. Maybe your War-time piano is the answer. Hope someone knows first-hand about this. I sure am puzzled. Bob
