On rare occasions this can happen if the piano has been DROPPED. Usually the box will show damage. I know that you can drop a grand box perfectly flat and show no damage at all. Concealed damage is hard to prove. Good luck. Ed Tomlinson Cascade Piano Piano Sales/Piano Technician
