I have found silicone oil quite by accident in a copier repair shop. I don't
know what it's used for in copiers, but I got about three quarts for only a
couple of dollars, I think. It's lasted so long, I don't remember how much I
paid but it wasn't much. I still have more than I may ever use! It seems to
do the trick but I'm kind of partial to Protek.
