Terry;
 It stands for: Master Piano Technicians.  It is a piano tuners organization 
that was formed shortly after PTG.  MPT does not take 'beginners' per se, as 
you must have a verifiable amount of experience and be recommended by three 
praticing technicians. I am not a member of MPT but if you desire more
