Terry, My first tilter was one that I made myself for about $25.00 It was made out of 3/4 inch ply wood and 2x4s with two iron feet. The 2x4s were used for bracing and the plywood the sides. The ply wood was 2' x 4' and a radius on the pickup end 2' The only problem with this tilter was that it took up too much room and could only be used in my shop. But the cost was right and worked just as well as the ones that cost 10 times that. If you purchase one my choice would be the one with two handles. Two modifications that I needed to make, throw away the wing nuts that hold the tilter in the open position and drill 1/8 inch holes in the bolt end so that you can use a hitch pin to hold the arms in the open position. And check to see if the feet need to be bolstered and made stronger. Mine bent and almost lost a piano once when it sliped out from under the piano.
