We have had great success with backcheck leather from Renner. Excellent
quality. We have been impressed particularly with their damper felt. It
comes in various sizes to fit the single, double and tri-chord bass
strings, upper and lower bass stings. Infact, we now purchase all our felt
from them, punchings,knuckles, etc...
The higher end Pianoteck materials are also very good but IMHO Renner is
just a little better - both companies will serve you well.
Thoughts from the Belly Dept.
