Petrof and Förster are as willing to share or steal from each other as Steinway and Baldwin are here. Both are very old companies and both have come back rather well after the fall of the "wall". Förster used Flimish actions during the "wall" that were awful actions but they did well with them. If you regulate one of those odd actions do not try to use tight tolerances, they will not hold. As an example use 1/8" instead of 1/16" letoff otherwise you will have blocking hammers. There may well be pinning problems. Examine the design carefully before disassembly. After the "wall" they went to Renner actions immediately as they could. I _like_ the tone of the A. Försters and they are lovely pianos to look at as well. Newton
