No, actually, it's redundant. A full hole would be an oxymoron, but only if
it's all the way through. If it's only half way, the other half of the hole
is still filled with wood and wasn't a whole hole in the first place, but
merely a half hole.

That, as far as I know, is the hole truth. I hope that clears it up. I'm
snowed in today, so I'd better make use of it and get back to work.
