The best "advertising" is your work. Your satisfied customers tell their friends about your work. Next to that, business cards that are honest, not pretentious, and straightforwardly informative work well. Direct advertising (newspapers, magazines, mass media in general) bring little reward for effort and money spent. Yellow pages aren't bad. But NOTHING can top your reputation, both professional and in terms of personal integrity and honesty.
