Grin.. course I understand this.. But then my dissapointment is more
understandable when one is aware of just how many instances within the PTG I
have already encountered who have informed me that testing was perfectly
available for folks outside the US. Including some from the Home office who
helped arrange for me to take the written and technical in Seattle this past
summer. To then write a letter to the Convention e-mail address, get no response
for a month, then take contact with Dale who forwards my query to those who have
direct responsibility, and then get this note was mildly put upsetting.

I would hope this would be the case. It seems a bit odd that others have been
allowed to take the test, and assume RPT titels and privlages when this is
against the by-laws, and then after that is first the case that folks such as
myself are "excluded" (if I may use such a strong term) on the grounds that it
is against the bylaws. To semi quote a previous secretary of state... "Whos in
charge over there ??...Read your constitution gentelmen"

Of course I know this, and indeed apologize for rashly responding in despondance
and publicly posting this. But then I am no more perfect then the world at large
is. Still, my apologies.

Thankyou for your post, and for your tender reminders of appropriate subject
matter for this list. I for one appreciate them a great deal.
