Massah Rick Dreamon.......you must have the courage of your convictions my 
son and hie thee to McIntosh and the "Open Doc" utility. Open Doc allows you 
to do just what you have asked for, i.e. hyperlinked applications, audio, 
video/graphics, almost anything that is on your hard drive can be inserted in 
spread sheets or documents with hyperlinks to the background 
program.....great little thingee. I don't know if PC platforms have such a 
utility.
