Dear list,

Debbie Cyr's post of 2/19 covered the broken stand-off problem well. =
The following information may be of help. As of 2/19, the affected =
Dampp-Chaser distributors are adding a "wet" stand-off package to each =
vertical system shipped. We had already taken care of our inventory.

We have provided replacements to all the technicians affected that we =
are aware of. If there are others who have had this problem but have =
not received replacements, we ask that you contact us. By virtue of the =
recent thread, we will be sending replacements to those who posted.

Phil Bondi's comments regarding the stand-off material, Nylon 6-6, are =
noted. Our supplier, Richards Plastics of Laurel, MS has looked at the =
records for this batch of stand-offs, before offering this low humidity =
cause. This company has been one of our best suppliers over the past 10 =
years, and we have the utmost confidence in their analysis. However, we =
will point out your areas of concern to be absolutely certain that we =
have the correct answer.

Sincerely,

Bob Mair, CEO
Gayle Mair, President
Dampp-Chaser Corporation
