Bob,
Though it looks daunting it is not all that bad. You do not have to remove
all the tubes that go through the keybed, just unscrew the blocks from the
bottom of the keybed. They have machined screws with washers and springs on
them. Pull them down a little so they will not catch the action as you slide
it out. Next unscrew all the levers that go to the front of the keybed,
(tempo, rewind, on off, etc.) don't completely disconnect them, you are just
going to lower them so the keyframe doesn't hit them on the way out. There
are also two blocks that trap the levers to the keybed, you will see from
underneath, remove them also. Depending on which model Duo-Art you have, up
top there will only be a couple of hoses that connect on each side, or there
will be a block with 15 hoses connected to it on the left. Either disconnect
the hoses (marking them of course) or unscrew the block and it will seperate.
Both will have a roll motor supply hose on the right that has to come off.
Take off the rods that come across from each side for reroll and tempo.
Unscrew any brackets holding the spool box and roll motor etc. to the case
and then carefully slide the action out. If you hold your mouth just right
and jiggle the action a little it should slide out.
