Sticky plastic key tops

John
I've used mineral spirits (paint thinner) for years as an adhesive remover
for tape, labels, etc. Its cheap, effective, long shelf life, safe on key
tops and most plastics. Charcoal lighter fluid will work in a pinch.

sticky substance is some tape backing..... pretty thick. I tried detergent
and a damp cloth which just spread it around. Brilliant! I trued toothpaste.
Only about 50 per cent effective.
