David,
The SATlll Is a better tool than the SATll Both will do the same job tuning
but the features that are new are of no value if you do not use them.
The reason that I got the SATlll was its SIZE and auto advance.
One thing that I found that I liked about the new model is that the lights
are much easier to read and clearer readings of the note through out. Still
some dificulty on some pianos in the low bass and always the highest two or
three notes.
I kept one SATll for backup and gave the other to my eldest son to dabble
with.
