Maybe a bit of felt is missing (due to moths, rodents, or ?) from the bottom
of the damper upstop rail, right above this note's underlever.  On a hard
blow the underlever collides wood-to-wood with the bottom of the rail.  On a
softer blow, the underlever is not "thrown" high enough to reach the rail,
thus no click.
