Pewter Kimball hinges?

I just finished blasting the hardware on a 1916 Kimball grand. It was all
solid brass except for the continuous hinges. They are silver and non
magnetic (the hinge rod is brass). I don't think they were plated although
it's hard to tell because the piano had been painted (white with gold
accents and a portrait of George Washington, or is it Martha - see link
below). What metal do suppose this is?
