To all of you guys who responded to this riddle- I thank you. Yes, I HAVE been using white chalk myself for years & it works EXCEPT for the plated tuning pins. The pin's surface is both shiny & slick & that's where I've been having a hard time with chalk. The white opaque marker seems like a real good idea. Thanks again ya'al. -Dan
