It's a real buzz when you have to readjust the = treble in particular because they are too close. then after a few = seasons, you have to change them because after they have been wet, dry, = wet, dry etc, they start to zing on the strings because the face of the = damper has gone crispy. and I wish that manufacturers would use artificial felt on the string = felts 'cause they also absorb moisture causing the strings to rust and = break at these spots.
