Hammer Boring Problem

Hi Lance,
Well I contacted the customer, explained the problem, and had the
deadline extended.
I got thinking, since it was the suppliers fault, I had supplied the
samples. Then they should fix it.
So I guess that means I went with, Newton.
If I hadn't been able to change the delivery date, I would definitely,
have gone with, Jim, Jon & Ralph's fix.
Thank you guys.
If I had run into this problem, say ten years ago, I would definitely,
have looked into the purchase, of a jig from Wally or Renner. But
I am on the slow down phase, of working, so it doesn't make
economic sense to purchase one. I will be 63 in a couple of days,
and while I will probably never really, quit completely, I don't think
I will have a big business in replacing hammers.
All the best in the New Year, to all.
Regards,
John M. Ross
