Hi Phil,

If the pins are going sharp then it would appear you are tuning above pitch
with some variant of a smooth pull technique and then trying to "set" the
pin by lowering the pitch. I would suggest switching to an impact style and
tuning with no overshoot at all on the offending pins.

I believe some persons have had some success by heating the tuning pin,
perhaps if you search the archives? Or would someone care to jump in?
