Terry, I don't see that John wishes to de-humanize the list; only, to keep it focused better. For those who are particularly "serious minded", it CAN seem to be over loaded with stuff and pluff. Being a piano tech is a very human activity. And, it is underpinned with very serious considerations of science, art and, above all, music. I am not disagreeing with your comments at all. I'm just supporting John's proposal.
