Hi Les,

Many  of those pianos had a touch weight that was way below
"normal".  I have done this myself what that was the case. 
Get out your touch weights and find out what the down and up
weights are.  If the customer complains or the balance
weight (average of up and down( exceeds 42 grams then you
might speak to the customer about evening the touch weight
but not necessarily removing all the lead.
