Grin... while I aggree in principle that one should be carefull about
believing too awfully much in ones own opinions... I also am one who
believes in the principle of Universal Truths.  This particular issue
Dick, is not about opinions... its about definitions. And I fail to see
how any thinking human can reduce any particular human endeavor to it
mere physical rudimentaries, and concieve of this being justifiable as a
matter of opinion.

I repeat...  the ability to turn and set a tuning pin alone... even to a
visual referance... is only one small part of the greater set of skills
required of a piano tuner. This is not a matter of opinion. This is
simple fact. And by virtue of that fact... if all you can do is turn the
pin... then you are not a piano tuner.
