Hi Clyde Well yes if the subject has changed you should start a complete new thread however, if it takes a new route then yes add some extra lines. Take in point: [1] Dale Probst, posted a complete new subject "Texoma Chapter Newsletter" which is part of "[OT] Proposal on off-topic" discussion so if I was applying a filter to this thread then Dale's post would be lost as well also, later if doing a search in the pianotach archives results would be more constant if the correct protocol is used. What Dale should have done is started a new email not reply to an email received from the pianotech listserv and just change the subject, that is the wrong way of doing it. Regards Barrie 1 this was just an example and could have been one of many. In article <3A3561E6.9A1A7CE@supernet.com>, Clyde Hollinger <cedel@supernet.com> writes >Barrie, > >I wonder if you might be referring to what I do. Maybe so, because I will sometimes >change the subject line. Maybe not, because I change the subject line to reflect >what is already being discussed, which is why I don't start a new thread.
