My Personal High is in the High Sierras of California. You have to drive up to about 9000 feet, get out of your car, climb for about four or five hours up to about 12,000 feet, and go down into the valleys from there. There aren't too many people up there, and the geology just blows your socks off. It's very apparent of the massive forces involved in making up the terrain. Up there, you catch what is known as "Golden" Trout. Bright yellow and red bellies. The thin air gives you a great appetite. Everything is painted by the golden (and later purple) hues of the heavens. There is absolutely no way you can climb up into these regions and deny the existence of God. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robin Blankenship" <itune@firstsaga.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Friday, December 08, 2000 7:26 AM Subject: Re: Average person's perception.... > For me, it is the stillness that allows the beauty to wash the soul. > Southside Virginia is several thousand square miles of quiet and > contemplative beauty.
