Hi Diane,

Thank you very much for posting this!!  I know there have been times when I
wondered if there wasn't a better way to do that very thing, especially when
replacing them wasn't an option.

I'm curious, did you need anything else?  Did you use some kind of polish on
the carpet? or any kind of solvent?  Did you start with just a basic
cleaning of some sort aside from the carpet? (Or am I making it too
complicated?)  :-)

I think your idea is great!!
