Very likely that the Billings flange is cracked where it recieves the center pin. It has happened to me. Best bet is to replace the flange. also for those that don't know, it is not necessary to remove the flange screw to get these flanges out. when I discovered that I was pleased with the concept too bad the brass gets brittle.
