Of course not!!
 Anyone with common sense knows it is the little brass knobs on the fall 
board.......they absorb moisture, and thus gain weight,...this in turn places 
more strain on the fallboard hangers, which being fastened firmly to the rim 
causes the rim to tilt inward ...which squeezes the fallboard and thus 
applies more crowning moment to the board/bridges..thus causing the sharpness 
observed................Now, this is piano 101 stuff guys, don't fail to take 
it into consideration the next time it comes up!! :-)
