It represents exactly the same kind of "hypocrisy" (grin.. like my spelling do
ya..?) that you acuse ET supporters (and I might add with some justification on
your part) of being guilty of. What is appropriate or not is actually a ridiculous
point to try to make as there is in reality no such animal. There IS on the other
hand...(and read this as support of your passion for HT) a wealth of tonal
alternatives that can and should be explored. Be that as it may... Mozart sounds
just dandy in ET.. different then it would in a Picklwemeister 12 perhaps... but
its just one of many wonderfull possiblities open to us to choose from.

As I said at the outset... In our desire to explore and renew the virtues of the
many historical temperaments available to us, there is no reason to resort to ET
bashing.

The only thing I am bashing around in all of this is the unwillingness on anyones
part to drop all the value judgement stuff. Why cant we just get down to the fun
of exploring all the possibilites and leave it at that ??? eh ????
