I have discovered THE most compelling reason for properly
fitting a block to the plate flange.  There has never been
any doubt in my mind for the requirement, now I know for
certain.

The most compelling reason to properly fit a block to the
plate flange is to prevent delamination amongst all the
others.

I have proof of that out on the porch right now.

MY block will fit exceptionally well even tough it is a
Delignit layer cake.
