This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Dear List I have been working on an ols S & S lately, only to make it work.=20 It came out so well that the customer is asking me to restring and = change hammers / tuning pins and dampers.=20 The only thing I did to the piano was to brush the hammers, change all = centerpins and regulate, and the difference was so big, the customer = asked me what else shoud be done. Bass strings specially the first = octave are dead, in the treble part it had lots of broken strings, so I = suggested to restring the piano, Hammers have been brushed several = times, so I consuder better to change them. Here are my questions. I could not locate the piano serial if anyone has it 1.- Steinway and Sons it says EBONIZED and serial is 120576 anyone = knows when was built ?=20 2.- I am planing to order all action parts to Renner USA. now Where = would be a good place to have the Bass Strings made. ?
