The are nailers, Ron.  I recently showed them to a local farrier who had
never seen nor heard of such a thing.  Upon examining them, he agreed
that they were indeed designed for an ox.  Maybe they didn't catch on.
By pure coincidence I discovered a single shovel plow yesterday,
supposedly designed for oxen.  Maybe I can match them up and put 'em on
ebay!  :-)  I could have used a yoke of oxen when I recently moved a
player.....
