Stephen and Paul,

Thanks for the update on leather covered hammers. How late were
all-leather hammers used, at least with non-Viennese actions? I'd be
interested in any tips on making this type of hammer.


Doug,

Jim Bryant asked about the <pre><XMP></pre> html tag he'd seen in posts.
I haven't seen them in messages or their source, but I haven't kept with
updates either. This tag could be used to display as text what otherwise
would be interpreted as html tags.
