Removing Bass Strings

Brian,

I respectfully disagree, though every situation is unique. I've replaced an 
entire bass set on a Kawai grand - without lowering the tenor/treble (Don 
Mannino said I'd have no trouble - and I didn't). Wouldn't try it, though, on 
a Sohmer Cupid.
