Well, I'm not certain how I can answer that question.  Cleanly that
is.

Perhaps an example would be in order:
  Since I am right handed (as opposed to wrong handed) I lift the lyre
with my left hand so I can lift levers and pick up sticks with my
right.

The main problem with S&S leg and lyre plates, make and female all, is
that they were never properly introduced.
