The average income was about $25K a decade ago.

I didn't really mean to get into a long thread about income.  A few of
the problems encountered when coming up with a meaningful annual net
include distinguishing between gross and net, reluctance to be
forthright with others about your income, and whether to include all the
part-time technicians (assuming you have a way of defining 'part-time'.)

The tuning fee around is either $60, $80, $100, or $120 depending on who
you talk to.
