Greetings, 
    I have it on good authority,(B.Garlick),  that the accelerated action
patent covers not only the half-round, but also that all key weights be as
close to the balance rail as possible.  This was not actually followed by the
factory for some time, so technically, they were not legit to call those
actions "accelerated".
