Hi Ron, I read a review a few years ago in the "American Woodworker" on band saws. On the Grizzly G1073.....their opinion was......with a little tweaking it`s as good as any 16" out there.......some selling for 3 and 4 times the price. Haven`t used one yet but have been planning to purchase one soon. Who knows.......maybe I`ll get one for Christmas......I`ve been dropping that hint for few years now....along with the tractor, ski boat, sail boat......... later, Tom Carpenter -----Original Message----- From: Ron Nossaman <nossaman@SOUTHWIND.NET> To: pianotech@ptg.org <pianotech@ptg.org> Date: Sunday, December 19, 1999 5:31 PM Subject: bandsaw recommendation >Hi Gang, >I've been out in the shop ripping what seems like miles of maple into >strips, and find I've got a problem.
