Ken -

I have seen them fairly often in antique stores, usually referred to as
"piano shawls", as I recall.  She might also consider making one or
having it made - a nice silk or a fancy brocade fabric trimmed with
fringe or lace.  That way she could get the perfect color scheme for her
room.
