I agree. Contact cement or any product that has to be put on both surfaces to glue up seems a waist of time. I put my PVC-E glue in a (titebond) bottle and squeeze a small bead on the key and then apply the top. I glue all the "A's" then the others in succession. This saves time and I can do a set in just two to three hours total time. I always shoot the fronts white with a primer white to give it a brand new look. Do this before application of tops so that the small trimming out will remove any overspray that may come as a result.
